Sweet home Ottawa...

Yesterday I had the appointment at the US Embassy in Ottawa to extend my actual visa up to December.

I was very stressed in the morning. Luckily, Martin was there to make me laugh while killing time for my appointment. Once inside I just had to wait (as everybody) so I kind of entered on a quiet spiritual path of patience.

See the first officer. Wait. See the second officer. Wait. See the third officer. Wait (again). See the fourth officer. And still wait... Why? Because there was a Chilean citizen that only spoke Spanish and whose interpreter was missing so they gently asked me to do them the favour.

Why gently? Because the officer specifically said: You must perform this duty towards the United States of America. Ok. I did it but I do not think I owe any duty to the US just because I like to live and work in New York. I certainly did it to help the Chilean girl... Man, Americans are super nice but sometimes I do not understand them.

Now, what is left? To wait to receive the my passport (visa included) at Martin's place! Youpeeeeee! I will have free ticket to stay until December!
